Moviegoers
and critics alike have been going crazy for "Horloge
Biologique", the hottest film to come out of Quebec since the
Oscar-winning "Barbarian
Invasions". Along with Plastic Operator's "Folder",
the soundtrack features "It's My Life" by Talk Talk, tunes by
Montreal darlings Poxy
and many more. Plastic
Operator has signed a record deal with London-based Sunday
Best Records. Label boss Rob Da Bank first heard the band’s
music early this year, dug the catchy sounds, and played the white label
version of the single "Folder" on his BBC Radio 1 show, The
Blue Room, Listeners far and wide were hooked and got in touch to
share their love for the song. A few months later Rob had snapped up the
tune for Sunday Best. "Folder"
will be featured on the sountrack of the hotly anticipated "Horloge
Biologique", the latest comedy from director Ricardo Trogi (Québec-Montréal),
released by Alliance Atlantis Vivafilm and coming to theatres this August. We are very pleased to announce that Plastic Operator made their UK radio debut on Saturday 8th January on Rob Da Bank's show The Blue Room. Rob proclaimed
"Folder" "very, very good indeed and very catchy". Do not miss the chance to hear Plastic Operator play live at Notting Hill Arts Club on Tuesday, 11 January 2005. The band will play alongside CLIENT (Mute/Toast Hawaii) who will be launching their fantastic single, "Pornography". Tuesday, 11
